WIP: Hello, 2017

Well.

Things sure took a nose dive at the end of 2016, and it’s taken me and us a while to adjust to the new reality, but I’ve finally reached a point where nothing captures my attention more than my own work.

It’s good to be back.

So, 2017. I’ve come up with a simple formula, a combination of two simple elements that will bring me both short-term and long-term success:

5 thousand words + 10 thousand steps, every day

Seems simple, right? Not easy, but simple. And though it won’t be easy, I think I can do it, and I am determined to do it.

Starting tomorrow, January 20, 2017.

In the near term, the next three months, I want to complete five new projects that may likely change my life. I will need to work hard for that, but I know that I can do it, and it will be awesome.

In the long term, the rest of this year and everything beyond, I want to complete a book a month. I need to complete a book a month to do the work I want to do.

Beyond the words and steps, I plan daily new content on my website, weekly promotions, and frequent new releases of things worth reading.

So simple, all of it. Not easy, but certainly possible.

I get started in the morning.
