I began the day by dropping my wife off at work, then taking daughter to her grandmother’s and myself to the Tempe Public Library to get some work done.
However, a family issue plunked down into the day and disrupted us, and it was more important to help and be supportive than to finish a silly novel.
Vampires Versus Comicon
Alas, this book will not be done in time for Comicon this year. I’m not sure it makes a big difference, though. I don’t know if I get any benefit from releasing it to coincide with Comicon, because Comicon is very involving, and it seems doubtful that people would want to take time from that to look at a silly book instead.
Now, after Comicon, maybe people will want to enjoy a book that takes place there. That’s what I’m shooting for now.
But, given that we’ll be at Comicon all day, every day, it probably won’t be ready right after Comicon, either.
In the grand scheme of things, however, I have no problems at all.
